Nasik City

The ancient holy city of Nasik, primarily an agrarian and religious town is situated on the banks of the eternal river Godavari.

In the past we Nashikites would boast only about the good climatic conditions and the holy religious atmosphere of the town. But today Nashik is poised for tremendous growth due to which it has become the focus of attention of the entire state. We are aware of our city’s verve and vim and how it has metamorphosed from a sleepy pilgrim place to a a full fledged bustling industrial metropolis.

New industrial zones, shipping malls, multiplexes, gardens, playgrounds,  five star hotels, auditoriums, swimming pools, educational institutes of finest quality, I. T,. Sectors are all flourishing in and around Nashik City. The shrinking distance to the neighbouring metros of Mumbai and Pune due to road and rail connectivity, rising business, educational and employment opportunities and good infrastructural developments have put Nashik in the state’s golden triangle.

Another feather in Nashik’s cap is her new identity as Wine Capital of Maharashtra. No less than 23 wineries have sprung up around Nashik, manufacturing many varieties of world-class wines.

The vivacity, pleasant climate, social fabric, agricultural base, religious and cultural importance and flamboyant image have made Nashik one of the most sought after and attractive destination. As a result there is a huge influx of citizens from the state and country. But we Nashikites are co-operative and accommodating. There has been no dent in its communal harmony.  One more unique feature of Nashik is the uncanny combination of rural and urban lifestyle that one can enjoy here.

It is heartening to note that the lifestyle of denizens here is changing rapidly. Living has indeed become a classy affair in Nashik.  Even with a busy life style it is a cheerful sight to watch Nashikites on the jogging tracks or flocking towards the swimming pool, early in morning. There are myriad activities going on round the year like Nashik Festival, Cycle Rallies, Marathon Events, Sales, Exhibitions, etc. All these activities draw a very enthusiastic response from Nashikites. The young brigade has fun at food joints and multiplexes. Best of residential projects are coming up on the outskirts to make living a luxurious experience.

So friends, a visit to what was once Lord Rama’s abode will bring you lot of joy, happiness, contentment and a sense of fulfillment!
